IN-GAME HEADCANON

• Journey probably took approx. 1-2 years or something before settling in mountain because Red had to see ALL THE THINGS and look at ALL THE STUFF. Stayed on the mountain for three years or so. I have no idea.
• Stocked on supplies often! Just not certain supplies...
• He runs out of escape rope a lot because he forgets to buy them sometimes, so he got lost in caves for so long he got used to it.
• He actually bought a Magikarp from the Magikarp salesman. It's a Gyarados in his PC now though.
• He called his mom using payphones at least once every time he reaches a new city--there are no pay phones on mountains.
• FUCK YOU, MOON CAVE.
• Red failed all of the questions that had to do with TMs in Cinnabar's gym.
• Hasn't lost any gym battles before, but he had plenty of close calls (Pewter, Saffron, Cinnabar, Viridian) and probably a couple of battles along his journey.
• Lost once to Lorelei during Elite Four, that lady was fierce...
• He got along with Lance really well, yeah. Liked his Charizard.

PERSONAL HEADCANON

• He got into Pokemon because Blue was interested in them after they stop being best friends... Basically, he wanted to catch up and be friends again by being in same interests.
• Then... he just started liking Pokemon in general because they were his friends and he was like the only kid there now that Blue is a huge bully, what an asshole.
• Things he did alone during bullied stage: doodling, playing videogames (just think Nintendo and arcades), watching cartoons alone, helping mommy with chores and stuff. He would spend time with Blue sometimes, but uh... Mean.
• His dad gave him his hat... So it is important.
• He doesn't... curse. RATED E FOR EVERYONE. As of now, he would be too bewildered to even say anything probably.
• He writes/texts more of his thoughts than he speaks.
• Got plenty of scarves and jackets on the mountain for reasons unknown.
• He doesn't know how to cook--at most he knows how to roast things and open chip bags.

POKÉMON TEAM

PIKACHU

▪ Red's starter! Special place in his heart.
▪ At first, Pikachu was quite defiant rather than obedient, but grew friendlier as they traveled.
▪ Pikachu is the most rambunctious and experienced in Red's party as of present.
▪ ALWAYS out of his Pokeball because of reasons. Pikachu, having a lot of energy, likes being outside where the party is at.
▪ He doesn't really like Blue Oak that much, but tolerates him.
▪ He is easily wooed most of the time; a very forgiving Pikachu.
▪ Likes sweets and having his cheeks massaged.
▪ ADVENTUROUS, DRAMATIC, FRIENDLY, SOMEWHAT STUBBORN (it depends).
▪ He likes balloons because he wants to fly, too.
▪ Also likes boxes and tries to fit in them or make forts with square things.

VENUSAUR

▪ First Pokémon Red adopts; as a Bulbasar, he was quite stoic.
▪ Enjoyed staying in place most of the time now... Because, y'know, he's huge and makes earthquakes when he moves.
▪ Actually the one that didn't want to evolve the most, but ended up evolving anyway after being comforted by Pikachu that change is okay.
▪ Venusaur is the one that is most stable and stubborn, perhaps.
▪ Odd enough, very obedient.
▪ Butts heads with Blastoise once in a while because their personalities clash.
▪ The voice of reason along with Lapras, but more easily provoked.

CHARIZARD

▪ Second Pokémon Red adopts. As a Charmander, he was a super woobie.
▪ Okay... Charizard is still a woobie--he is like Red's baby Pokémon out of all of them.
▪ Kind of had self-esteem issues at first because he was the tiniest Charmander, but he grew to be bigger than average as a Charizard.
▪ Easily enabled, but can be stubborn when he wants to be! This is what happens when you gain confidence.
▪ Though most of the time sweet, he can be pretty scary. Basically, beware of the nice ones.
▪ Pikachu's flying budddddy and usually his partner in crime.
▪ Likes spicy and chewy food--mostly on the charred side.
▪ Flashy on flying unless strangers are on his back, yep.
▪ Because... he's incredibly shy around strangers.

BLASTOISE

▪ Third Pokemon Red adopts... He hasn't changed much from being a mischievous, "cool" Squirtle.
▪ Basically Vitrolic Best Buds with Venusaur.
▪ He has a lot of confidence in himself and is probably the most egotistical of them all in some sense.
▪ Though he likes to think he's tough, he's easily startled... As a Squirtle, he would withdraw into his shell and he still does that from time to time as a Blastoise.
▪ Enjoys games just as much as Pikachu and they would often make things up and try to drag the rest of the Pokemon in.
▪ Tends to have water battles with Lapras for kicks.
▪ Likes dry and wet food equally, but likes his udon hot.

SNORLAX

▪ HE WAS BLOCKING THE WAY OF THE ROUTE... Red caught him because Snorlax kept using rest and it was annoying.
▪ Obviously likes sleeping and eating.
▪ Usually the Pokemon bed, but the problem is that Snorlax tosses and turns sometimes.
▪ Enjoys being used as a skateboard down the mountain... Don't ask how this happened.
▪ The Katamari Ball - Snorlax's hidden ability.
▪ He's... really lax, ha. He only adds input if he's somehow awake at the time, otherwise he's asleep.
▪ YOLO is his motto and actually does really well in battle.
▪ Likes fruit the most.

LAPRAS

▪ Fourth Pokemon Red adopts! Young, but wise for his age.
▪ He likes to keep an elegant, serene air around him.
▪ More flexible than Venusaur though, kind of like a deadpan snarker.
▪ Best sense of direction and at least attempt at leadership.
▪ I guess Lapras is dandere because eventually he can be childish and easily excited after you get to know him.
▪ Finds ferrying people around very calming, actually.
▪ Likes cold food and iced tea.
