[ in the morning, pikachu and red will find a letter — slipped under their suite door, much like red had slipped one beneath claudia's door. she delivered hers at night, like the grade a creep all assassins are, but to be fair, her schedule has become nocturnal very suddenly. the stationary has been folded carefully and sealed by red wax; the stamp indent is that of a rather fearsome looking eagle. she has written in black ink, and in certain places, there are ink dots as if claudia hesitated before writing "and pikachu." also? her handwriting is very messy. claudia only wishes she writes as neatly as him. (my best wishes to red that he can decipher some of those words. most informants use codes for records; claudia uses her handwriting because it is that bad.) ]

Dear Red,

Thank you for the letter. I know it must not seem to be much, but the days before I received it had not been my best. A very stressful week! Such is running a business. What I mean to say is, your letter was a pleasant surprise. I enjoyed reading it. But you and Pikachu do not have to worry. I'm doing well now.

I hope you both are doing well. Those "Olympics" were interesting enough, and I imagine switching bodies is, too. But who wants to be in a body that is not their own? How uncomfortable. I was uncertain if this curse had plagued you. Truly, I hope it has not! That is why my letter is late. I'm sorry. Better than in the wrong hands, at least.

I would be happy to meet again. Pikachu has eaten the marshmallows, hasn't he? Well, we will have to buy more! I asked my friends if they like marshmallows and smores; they told me I have lived a very deprived life without them. Obviously, I must taste both as soon as possible to understand what this fuss is about. Later, why don't we have italiano for lunch or dinner? I know an excellent restaurant. It is not as authentic as I would like, but their cook is very talented.

Unfortunately, it is very late as I write this. I do not want to lose it among other papers, or forget! So I will finish here. I have a lot of work to finish as well, but when you want to meet, tell me. I will make the time.

Dear Red,

It's okay that you didn't write one a letter! I've been slacking so you shouldn't apologize! Work has been taking most of my time and I've been really busy during the war. I'm okay and I'm glad to see that you're okay too! It must have been a really scary experience being one of the natives. I never lost my bracelet before but I can't imagine forgetting who I am.

I've been doing fine, I had a lot of work lately but I don't mind. I'm having fun meeting a lot of new people and helping Hilda out! Speaking of Hilda, I thought you knew? If you didn't, you could ask them about it! I don't think they would mind!

I know that I lost a couple of my friends during the 4 months I've been here. I know a lot of people are sad that Nakama is gone and N too. But doesn't that mean staying together is all the more important? Maybe we should have a big celebration once the snow comes! We can have a snowball fight or make a house for those snowmen! That sounds really nice.

Dear Red,

So it's like a deep sleep? It still sounds scary since you don't know what's going on around you. You also wander around until someone finds you too. It's starting to sounds like you're a zombie when you lose your bracelet! I don't want to think about it anymore!

Me either but I think when you work with your friends, it's a lot more easier and fun that way! I can't wait to learn how to bake from Lucas, I want to get better at baking! And well...you know that they're um...getting really friendly toward each other right? Maybe you can ask about that?

A celebration would be great! I haven't seen snow in a while because I live in an area where it doesn't happen often! If we do get snow, I want a snowball fight! Whoever wins gets to the winner! And I'm not too sure, I don't think Emboar has seen snow yet. But I think he might act the same way as your Charizard, he might be a little scared since it's water...

But if snow does happen, I'll have to be extra careful with him! Bianca will be there to protect him!
